Farm Aid

Bottom line is, Rap/Hip Hop and that type sound is racist. The lyrics and videos say it all, they are all about Bad, Evil Whitey, come on now, we all see them and know it. How they get away with this is unreal, if the shoe were on the other foot, all hell would break loose and Teddy Kennedy would be in the front lines. The Rock and Country product never bring race into the spotlight, in fact, Blacks are in many of those videos, portrayed as great people. How are whites portrayed in Rap videos, do I have to ask, why is this allowed, how much more can we take. Now about the Fugees, their lead singer boasted a few years back, yelling, she would rather starve than have whites buy her music, yet whites still worshipped the band. Greaseman was crucified for his remark about the band, but in the same instance, the band came out on a show; "Live At The Appollo" and said, any whites in the audiance get out....Its all about double standards, and everyone knows it, but the too young, naive or just bull headed liberals...Hey I better watch it, this is what got Rock Intern banned.
 
Most rap song lyrics I can't understand... Either the words are not enuciated CLEARLY ---- Or when I do recognize the words, I don't understand the "Language". In either case all I know is that in the majority of the business world, one practicising this type of "communication" will not get one too far.
 
I don't think that most hip hop is racist, I understand the lyrics and 99% of the time the topic is not race, it's bootys, ice, selling illegal substances, cars, and expensive alcohol.

You are right that the liberals hold a severe double standard when it comes to race. However don't kid yourself into thinking that it is minorities who are pushing this, it is mostly liberal whites. People of all colors get a good laugh at liberal whites and their illogical hate. The kids you get mad at here are just regurgitating what their mind masters at school and in the media have told them. Most of them later in life will for the first time begin to think for themselves.


I think farm aid could benefit from having Jurassic 5, the Roots or hip hop groups like them participating, I also don't don't doubt for one minute that they would jump at the chance.
