Yeah, I heard him on KSCS doing afternoons too. He did mention though that he was filling in for Stubie Doak. It was cool to hear him on again since I grew up listening to his voice on the Eagle and KPLX for so many years. Still sounds great.

You guys are thinking what I am. I don't know exactly "what format" would be the one to put on next, classic country, a new HIP oldies station, (please, not another KLUV), or some other adult format that doesn't bore us to death like Lite, but Fast Eddie would be perfect for any of them. I do know he's involved with his own business these days, (car dealership) but who knows. They could fill the rest of the line-up with a few more market veterans and let them do something besides read the weather. What a concept. The question is, what company and frequency is smart enough to make the move. This market is so stale it's not funny anymore.

Interesting... Do all former radio people move on to their own car dealership business? That's what Bill Sherrard did....

Arabic rap or rock with Fast Eddie Abdullah.

Maybe Robert would let him do it as an "internet" broadcaster....

I suppose it would help if I actually had an Internet station... ;D

Fast Eddie has been with KSCS for a while now, filling in and do some weekends. I don't think it has anything to do with the twister. you guys need to get off the twister it's not bad!! It worked perfect for ABC, Look at the wolf now!!

I don't know if I'd go that far.

There are a lot of things that can be pinned on the decline of Der Loup. Twister, in my opinion, isn't one of them.

I can sum it up in 2 overused cliches.

1) It's eaiser to get to the top than it is to stay there

2) You are you own worst enemy (see "If it ain't broke don't fix it")
