...this has absolutely nothing to do with Valley radio, but back in the day quite a few Zonies listened to Top 40 KOMA out of Oklahoma City. This 50w blowtorch sent its signal over the entire western US and into a number of foreign countries half way around the world. Last month the mother of all tornadoes took out their three towers and silenced the station (now known as KOKC).
