FASTER KILL PUSSYCAT

With Cascada's "Miracle" already slipping in airplay at CHR-POP radio, and Lucas Prata's "And She Said" struggling to get on the air further down I-95 from the immediate New Jersey / New York / New England area ... I was wondering if anyone out there in Dance Land thinks if "Faster Kill Pussycat" (Paul Oakenfold Ft. Brittany Murphy) has a legitimate shot of crossing-over to CHR-POP radio ?THE MAJOR

I wrote this up on another board.I would think with Brittany Murphy, the actress, providing vocals along with Paul Oakenfold having crossed over to CHR..."Starry Eyed Surprise" with Linkin Park it really is just a matter of time.

I'm keeping an eye on it. I think it has the potential to become a crossover pop sleeper hit later this Summer. "Starry Eyed Surprise" was a cool track back in late-2002 that should have been bigger at CHR-POP radio. I think you meant 'Shifty Shellshock' (from Crazy Town) instead of Linkin Park.THE MAJOR

I've heard it several times on Hot AC WDFM in Defiance, OH (Fort Wayne rimshot). Mostly in mixes, but they're pretty dance-friendly throughout the day as well, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear it there as well. It could cross over more heavily, but I'm not so sure how soon it will happen.

wow, seems that old italian hex that I placed on the radio/dance scene is working....and the only thing that can break the spell is to give the ultra main stream "DanceFloor" by ME!!!! it's day in court.... or else, find an amazing exorcist.... mortals!(radio does not need britanny murphy....they have the #1 pop record of 2006 thanks to Paris Hilton, and that will be percieved as a pop record, not a dance record, even if remixes do follow...which I'm sure they will, and do a world of good for Paris, but won't mean squat to dance...

Vancouver's Beat 94.5 and Z95.3 are both playing this track. Interestingly, the Beat is also playing Stunt - Raindrops

Seems to be picking up some steam. Added at WYKS-Gainesville FL and WVYB-Daytona Beach WRHT-Greenville NC and WEZB-New Orleans. I like this song. I hope it becomes a hit in POP radio
