Growing up in Los Angeles, I was fortunate enough to listen to 93 KHJ during the "boss radio" days so my favs include folks like Robert W Morgan, Roger Christian and the Real Don Steel. That WAS GOOD RADIO!

Also enjoyed Rick Dees, "Big" Ron O'Brien, Paraquat Kelly, Lohman and Barkley and Bill Ballance. It was a lot of fun and there was some great talent. It's a shame nobody is allowed to be that good anymore.

If you are going to talk about Paraquat Kelly then how about The Burner Mary Turner, Jim Ladd (still going strong by the way), Jeff Gonzer, Bob Colburn, Papa Joe Benson, and of course The Frazier Smith Show ("I'm Too Hip, I Gotta Go. Shecky, get the jet!!")

Ross and Wilson went to WABC for a while in the late 70's.

Growing up in the NY market, it was Harry Harrison, Ron Lundy on WABC, Don Imus, Frank Reed, and Cousin Brucie on WNBC, and Scott Shannon on WHTZ (Z100).
