fave:
9/81.
least*
and this one i am shocked no one said:
the traffic channels in the 200's:
i listen , now and again - for the 'novelity'...
but the problems, are the cities selected:
yes, NY/LA/SF/etc...but other cities that
"sneeked" in there are a bit of an odd choice.
secondly, i only listen to say...a city's traffic
to prepare me ( not for driving) but to get
me excited if Im going on vacation some where
in the near future (and, yes i would be travelling
by aire), but i flip to #222, just to hear
the I-405/I-105...exit number### there
is a slight delay ( then i start to think...)
oh yea, how much that part of town is,
or oh yea, its always bad there because of...
but IM NOT LISTENING for the traffic : )
thirdly, if any one is listening for the traffic,
are they TUNING into xm? i know i wouldnt -
i would KNOW my AM/news channel is ON THAT
heck, due to the unfortunate events of 9/11
it changed the landscape of radio, the
news, traffic is now on (some) FM -music based
broadcasts (*outside of the morning show format)
which again, there is it the source, for the
most up2date,accurate, and current situations...
this doesnt even cover the fact...LARGER cities (and, even medium, markets too)...
also, run the traffic/live conditions, on the TV-news stations!
i just think - - yes, it is "nice" but what a waste.
again...i will tune in...when it is -25 below, to the san diego channel,
to hear...hmmm, 71F and partly cloudly : ) but, thats about it!
or,
during a hockey/baseball game *w/the cities that have teams,
to hear them talk about the extra traffic for the sporting events,
pittsburgh mentions it * other cities, do not
PLUS:
they never tell you the "JAM"Factor means, just the colour!
