Favorite CHR's late 80s

Back in the day, which did you prefer? I was listening to some old jingles from Down East in the late 80s and it got me to thinking.

Wilmington
WHSL or WVBS B100

Down East
WDLX The Hot Fm
WRHT
WZYC or WSFL
WRSF Surf 106

Still miss 93 DLX. Great Lineup Jack Boston, Gary Lee, Garry Jackson, Shellie Bynum, Shaney Richards, plus many others I am forgetting about. Also, I liked listening to Surf 106 and after DLX changed I liked the HOT FM 103.7 particularly the morning show with John Stevens.

DLX was great....G105 of the middle to late 80's was great. WRQR 94.3 was an AC/CHR hybrid from 1985-1990 and was very good And in the 70's WOOW 1340 was a great station.

Not great with dates as to when formats changed specifically, and I realize that SFL and ZYC weren't CHR, I just threw them in to see what people preferred. I realize that some stations may not exactly run concurrently like below. It was early when I posted and I meant to add this line too...

WQSM Q 98 or WMXF Mix 96

Finally, I posted the Raleigh/Winston/Charlotte choices on that board.

Listening to old jingles is what made me think to post this.
