I watched "Whose Line Is it Anyway" last night and Kaila Mullady was the guest. She is a champion beat boxer and did a great job. Are there any recordings similar to what she does that became hits?
Triumph of a Heart by Björk was top 40 in the UK and top 10 in Spain. But I’m biased, I’ve loved Björk for 30 years. I can’t think of any hits with beatboxing in the US.
I watched beat boxers in the early days of rap on one of the late night shows, I believe. I liked it.

I don't know what I heard last night on The Kennedy Center Honors after they played several James Brown songs but I liked it.
