Favorite HD-2s

Ok gang, let's get away from the IBUZ/We hate HD Radio/We love cheerleading crap for one thread and let's discuss something else.

You know there's a HD-2 station you've heard that you like. Fess up, what is your favorite or favorites.

Keep on topic too. We're only talking about HD-2s.

Mine are

WVMX-2 Cincinnati: Urban Jack
KYLD-2 San Francisco: Hispanic flavored Dance Station
KOST-2 Los Angeles: AC Oldies
KTBT-2 Tulsa: CHR/Pop
WGCI-2 Chicago: 80s/90s Urban Hits
KIOI-2 San Fransico: 80s

But enough about me. You?
______________

Damn dude, do you travel a lot or did you listen to them all online? I'd settle for listening to HD1...I know, I am OT so I will stop.
I listened to the Spanish KISS online and thought it was kinda cool...FWIW

I like WKSS HD-2. They have an interesting (but repetative) mix of music.

Here's a log I made from February 15th out of bordom

6:21PM: Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc
6:24PM: Natasha Bedingfield – These Words
6:28PM: Wham! – Everything She Wants
6:34PM: Gwen Stefani – Rich Girl
6:37PM: Chic – Good Times
6:40PM: Vicki Sue Robinson – Turn The Beat Around
6:44PM: Peaches & Herb – Shake Your Groove Thing
6:48PM: Fun Factory – I Wanna B With U
6:51PM: Beyonce – Baby Boy
6:55PM: Widelife – All Things
6:57PM: Sister Sledge – We Are Family
7:00PM: DJ Miko – What’s Up
7:04PM: Wild Cherry – Play That Funky Music
7:07PM: Outhere Brothers – Boom Boom Boom
7:11PM: Beyonce – Baby Boy
7:15PM: Dead Or Alive – You Spin Me Round’
7:18PM: Elton John – The Bitch Is Back
7:27PM: Erasure – A Little Respect
7:30PM: Outhere Brothers – Boom Boom Boom
7:34PM: RuPaul – Supermodel
7:37PM: Corona – Rhythm Of The Night
7:41PM: Company B – Fascinated
7:46PM: Lisa Stansfield – All Around The World
7:50PM: Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony
7:55PM: Le Click – Tonight Is The Night
7:58PM: Vicki Sue Robinson – Turn The Beat Around
8:01PM: Brenda K. Starr – I Still Believe
8:06PM: Ciara – Goodies
8:09PM: Yazoo – Situation

The other one I really like is WJMK HD-2 which is actually a move. WJMK HD-2 was on regular FM for over 20 years until they Jacked it.

Oldies. Fred Winston. Dick Biondi. Greg Brown. Grew up with it.

WBBM-2 B96 Dance
WJMK-2 Oldies

Those are both SHINING examples of well done programming. WJMK is simply a continuation of the main channel's oldies format, before they switched to Jack. B96 Dance has their own imaging and "sound".
______________

KPKX's HD2 "Totally '80s" here in Phoenix has a great variety of '80s music almost on par with XM's '80s channel, but unlike XM, there are no sweepers/bumpers that drag on for too long. Unfortunately, they're not streaming at this time, but their sister station in Chicago, "Mix 101.9," has a similar-sounding Internet stream.

The sound quality on KPKX's HD2 still needs some tweaking, though.

WJMK HD-2! It is well done (better than their analog signal IMHO)!

Though I have found that I also listen to Detroits WVMV Jazz, Chicagos WNUA HD-2 Jazz and WTMX HD-2 Totally 80's

The only vocal classical station I know of anywhere in the world:

That's an interesting mix of music. Reminds me of what Entercom is doing on WMKK-HD2 here in Boston. Like WJMK, WMKK's HD2 used to be on the analog signal (as WQSX), but when the station was Jacked (or Miked, in WMKK's case), the format moved to HD2. Without the personalities, though.

My favorite HD2 is probably the WTMX-HD2 "Totally 80's" feed at the moment, but locally I'm a fan of WMJX-HD2 (Smooth Jazz) and WJMN-HD2 (Old School Hip-Hop).

Worst HD2? It has to be WROR-HD2. Their playlist consists of 5 songs: 3 Beatles songs, a Doors song, and Barry White's "My First, My Last, My Everything". Luckily, the station's upcoming comedy format sounds promising.

rock 103 hd2 memphis..i still cant believe clear channel runs that station!!
