The greatest radio personality of all time Howard Stern

Stern "spun records" at one time in his career, but if we can't include him on this thread, than we have to take Mancow(one of the biggest Stern clones of all time) off the list. I don't understand why people don't want to give Howard the credit he deserves. Whether you like him, or hate him, it's a fact that no one has ever done anything even close to what he has done in radio, or even came close to getting ratings like he did.

That's fine, but the thread is about the hosts that play music now, and do it locally. Stern currently doesn't qualify in either category. It's not about giving / depriving Howard of whatever credit he deserves, it's about keeping the conversation on track.

Spin? Does anything spin, anymore? Isn’t that the time equivalent of using carts? Nothing spins here. No 45’s, no LP’s, no CD’s, no tapes, in fact no moving parts at all, with the exception of the keyboards, and the vocal exercise assist from us, vocal type, moving parts.

Well, not quite. The hard drives do, in fact, spin. :)
