hey just wondering whats your favorite 5 am/fm stations during pmdrive/amdrive , so put your favorite and what area of the tri state youre in

top 5 fm/am morning 1-5
top 5 fm/am afternoon 1-5
 
Well even though this is Philly's board I have to say these are my favorite (and I don't have 5). The order is how I listen to them as well.

Morning Drive

1. Tom&Val/WROZ-Lancaster, PA
2. Scott&Todd-WPLJ-New York
3. Preston& Steve-WMMR-Philly
4. Dana&Jill-WSTW-Wlimington, DE
5. (if this ever occurs) possibly if things are real bad on the others Mark Miller-WSJO-Altantic City, NJ

PM Drive

1. Patsy Sympson-WROZ-Lancaster, PA
2. Jaxson-WMMR-Philly
3. A Game-WSTW-Wlimington, DE
4. Stan Phillips-WMGS-Wlikes-Barre, PA


Most of the time (90%) I don't have to deviate from my number 1 spot. I just normally don't have to turn off The Rose for a bad song. They occasionally get funky and then I do go down the list. Mostly 3 and below I don't have to touch.

Dawg...I'm pretty sure that the author of this thread is referring to Philadelphia. This is pretty obvious because it is on the PHILADELPHIA BOARD. ;)

Well, I hate to say it Jack, I could not even come up with a top 2 for Philly exclusively. I think philly radio sucks and sucks real bad!!! That is why I turned to NYC and Central PA to get better music and stations and damn if I did not find great music. 101 The Rose is a cut above B101 and they have all the money in which to spend, but I guess money isn't everything?

Sorry bout that, but I just spoke my mind and answered the question.

Enjoy Philly Radio while I enjoy my NYC/Lancaster flavor.
 
I also find myself listening more to NYC radio. Imus in the Morning, WCBS-AM in the afternoon. While I listen to KYW for 20 minutes in the morning (for me, morning drive starts at 4am) and 20 in the afternoon, the rest of the commute is 880. About the only music I listen to on radio is the oldies show Saturday night on WABC. Otherwise, its my cd's. I look foreward to SJ returning to 97.5, so I may try Philly music radio again.
