Favorite News/Traffic People?

Gail Lightfoot & Suzy Summers for traffic

Brad Barton, for both his current WX reporting, and when he used to be the AM news anchor on KRLD. God, I miss the old teletype sfx. :-[

Bill Jackson on KLIF. Smooth but quick delivery of traffic reports without BS. I really don't need to hear separate reporters for Dallas, Denton & Tarrant counties. I like his no-nonsense approach, and not having to turn the volume down because of screechy helicopter reports.

Val Deore does a great job with the KLIF news also.

Val Dior...No question.

Favorite Retired Newsperson...Terese Arena.

J-D
TWR

Mark Watkins, KRLD. Now that's the voice of news.

Of course I remember hearing him on WIBC in Indianapolis back in the 70's.

A few years ago D Magazine had a photo of Tammy Dombeck on their website. I'd never given her the time of day until I "noticed" that photo.

The Actress...Tammy Thomas on Soul 73 KKDA, during the Willis Johnson Good Morning Show!!!!!!!!!

News, national: Steve Kathan, Bill Whitney, Mark Cetapani, Gil Gross, Barbara Britt and Jennifer Glasse.
News, local: Mark Watkins, Mark Willis, Denis Martyn, Chuck Schechner, Steve Cumming, Bob Morrison.
Traffic: Alan Barnes, Debbie Douglas, Mike Shannon, Kym West and Jennifer (I forget her last name, the one on KRLD).
There are many more who are very good... these are my personal favorites.
