Favorite old or current infomercials

Pitchmen was the show, a reality series on Discovery. Anthony was also on there. I've never bought any of his products he screamed about for years. Not even Oxi Clean.
I *DID* find an infomercial from 1989 on a VHS where he was the host, and promoting 2 different products in a half-hour. One of those was a Shamwow-type product, which Vince Offer would promote in the late '00s. No screaming, no yelling. Very 'bland' and young in those days.

I think my favorite of his 'screaming' era was for the Mighty Mendit. "IT HAS THE STRENGTH! TO WITHSTAND STORM! FORCE! WINDS! AMAZING!"

Thanks for saying the name of the show, Pitchmen on Discovery. I enjoyed that show.

Do anyone remember the hysterically amusing Carleton Sheets infomercials from the mid 1990's where anyone could buy real estate properties with no money down?

I remember he was telling folks that with no money down, they would make lots of money by owning real estate investment properties.

This pitch for a classical music compilation goes back to 1971, if not earlier. Here's a two-minute version, but I believe there was a longer version, maybe 15 minutes, as well, that filled time on UHF in the early days. I'd have to look in old TV Guides for more info. The pitchman was British actor John Williams, who was Mr. French on "Family Affair" after Sebastian Cabot left the show.

That was a scam I feel sorry for the few that fell for it and lost a lot of money.

I do remember watching those. My dad got the program and we watched it. My dad ended up not doing anything with it after that though. So basically he said it sounded good. but realized it did not make since.
