Favorite Pop Songs of the Moment

I really don't like much of CHR at this moment, but here's a few:

Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls
Kat DeLuna - Whine Up
Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning
Rihanna - Shut Up and Drive
Avril Lavigne - When You're Gone
Paula DeAnda - Easy
Justin Timberlake - LoveStoned
P!nk - Who Knew
Good Charlotte - Dance Floor Anthem
Kanye West - Stronger

As far as the top 60 that is gaining, that is really it.....

Hey spongebag, have you noticed that Linkin Park have now been number one for 14 (!!!) weeks on the Modern Rock charts. I think that's like an alltime record. It's also bounced back up on Billboard's Hot 100, most likely due to the release of the movie Transformers.

That's amazing (for such a bland song, but I digress), although not yet a record.

Thanks!

I looked back at my list and thought that some of these songs maybe very obscure, since they arent charting in the US yet. I listen mostly to Radio One. Love that station and the jocks are excellent too.

I heard another one I like

Yves LaRock-"Rise Up", which I believe is the same vocalist from Bob Sinclar's "World Hold On"

I see a trend here. Each and every one of those songs are pretty bland when you get down to it. With the exception of By The Way and maybe the last part of Dani California, they're all coming pretty close to elevator music territory. People are suckers for the soft four-minute pop ballad, even on Alternative Radio.
