Jenn CuneTa is pop. It was just released to dance first. I was one of the first to add it at KNRJ when I was the PD there. It's a straight up pop record. A lot of 'dance' is pop, but mainstream CHR's don't have the bal*s to play something that doesn't have ludacris rapping on it.

The worst song I have ever heard in my life

> 3) D.H.T. - Listen to Your Heart (Unplugged)

What a way to ruin a great Roxette song! I've heard computer-synthesized voices which sing with more natural feeling and inflection than this girl. The way she mechanically steps between each note is particularly awful to listen to. She might have a decent voice, but the way she gets the notes out makes her almost sound like someone who doesn't know English and is singing each word phonetically.

Ironically, I remember hearing that the members of Roxette didn't know English either!

I remember the last song my local AC station played before switching to a simulcast of their AM news/talk sister station on the morning of 9/11/01: Elton John's "I Want Love".

For me, that marked the end of the great pop music era which began slowly in 1995 and reached its peak in 1998-1999. In fact, just as the success of M.C. Hammer and Vanilla Ice in 1990 announced to the world that '80s Pop was dead, I think Eminem's performance together with Elton John at the 2001 Grammys announced to the world that '90s Pop was dead.
