Favorite Radio Christmas Songs

When thinking back to my days as an announcer at several Mississippi radio stations in the mid 70's to late 80's . My favorite pop Christmas tunes to spin were : I Believe In Father Christmas - Greg Lake , Step Into Christmas - Elton John , One Little Christmas Tree - Stevie Wonder , Christmas Just Ain't Christmas (Without The One You Love ) -O'Jays , Christmas Comes But Once A Year - Charles Bell . Just to name a few ! What was / or is your favorite ?

I remember "The Dawnbusters" on WTYX years ago had made a parody of "Christmas In Dixie " called "Christmas In Eastover " . It was great . ""By now on Meadowbrook Drive , there's golf balls on the ground . Buffy wants a BMW .........oh well can't remember the rest , but it was pretty good stuff . Anyway , one of my personal favs this time of year was Please Come Home For Christmas - Eagles .

Seems like everybody parodied "Christmas in Dixie". Our own B95's answer was "Christmas in Canebrake", for an exclusive subdivision west of Hattiesburg.
