FAVORITE South Carolina radio station?

OK....if you all are like me, it's really hard to choose..but if you had to pick ONE (OK, you can give two if you want ;) ) station in SC as your favorite, what would it be?

Mine is OLDIES 103/WOMG, hands down. That has got to be one of the very best Oldies stations around these days. Great jocks and it's really porgrammed well. Hey, they even play a few pre-64s and have Little Walter! It's professional sounding but has a great 'local' sound.

Honerable mention would be B106/WTCB in Columbia also. Great AC from what I've heard, really like the jingles, music, and presentation and they didn't start playing Christmas music around Halloween ;D .

These really weren't be hard to pick. Most of my SC radio knowledge is Upstate or Midlands, and Greenville radio has just pretty much been bleck the past couple of years. The only radio station I actually listen to anymore on a regular basis is WZLA in Greenwood...sad!!

I live in North Carolina, but I travel through South Carolina on my way home to relatives in Tennessee. I listen to quite a few FM signals throughout the state, and I would have to agree with you. My favorite SC station would have to be Oldies 103. Great music...I love the jingle package (Class Action from Jam) and good voices on the radio. Since I work for a Christian station, I would have to say I like WMHK pretty well and then after that it's a tie between WCOS and Whistle 100 (Greenville). I'm also kinda fond of 96-7 Steve FM.

WMYI gets my vote for the best all-around music station in the upstate. I'm in the Atlanta area during the week and the upstate on the weekends. Nothing in Atlanta comes close to WMYI as far as music mix. Magic 102.9 in Clarkesville is a fine station too but is only heard in NE Atlanta.

I agree - WOMG Oldies 103 is one of my favorites also. I love their DJ's and Charlie Van Dyke doing the promos. They truly are a Carolina oldies station, since they include beach music in their playlist. And I enjoy the pre-1964 music too.
