Favorite sports play-by-play team in DFW

Didn't Vern do the games with Frank Gleiber

No Verne Lundquist started doing post game with Bill Mercer and Blackie Sherrod. Gleiber was already full time CBS by then and Verne was Channel 8.

But any "Best Team" has to start with Bill Mercer. He did Cowboys, Rangers and North Texas sports and always meshed with whoever sat next to him and made them sound better.
BTW Mercer also did the Dallas Texans/Houston Oilers AFL championship OT game with Charlie Jones.

I'm betting Barnett will replace Josh on TV before too long.
