favorite station and why

Geez, Bruce............You replied to a post on the Orlando board in which Deano announced that Z had gone HD with Hot and Rock on additional channels! You already knew that!
I didn't know what the current developments were over there. I haven't heard from Deano in a long time - I was worried maybe he was no longer at the helm and somebody else got control. I guess I should check their web site more often. I still have NO IDEA how IBOC can work on the Z, with their primary signal on 88.3 and a Daytona Signal on 88.1 - I would worry that they would jam each other. That one has to be one for the books - I think Deano should publish a white paper for Ibiquity if he makes that work without a dead zone from Deltona / Deland over to New Smyrna!
No, it's not.
You know something - you are right! I am so burned out on that song that I could puke. Good stuff when it came out, she needed to follow it up with even more edgy stuff. Rebecca St. James is about as mellow as I listen to myself. And NOT her AC cover versions!
Although any and all listeners are appreciated, no AC station expects to have teens as P1s.
Too bad, because that is the future of the church - and their own future audience - that they are shutting down. Their attitude in 20 years as prime demographic will be "Christian radio - why bother?"

Do you think that HD radio will enable CCM stations to offer a format geared to young people? Will the stations do it?
Well, in the case of WPOZ, they're already doing it -- the "Y-Hot" and "Y-Rock" formats that they've been offering as internet streams are now on their HD-2 and HD-3 channels, respectively. I know that others are planning similar rock and hip-hop formats, CHR, country, P&W, and so on.

I know WISG is listed at iBiquity as planning to offer a Christian Rock HD-2 - are any other stations in Indiana, secular or noncom, planning to offer any Christian formats on an HD subchannel?

I'm a big fan of WPOZ's Y-Hot (http://www.radioy.com/), BTW.
