FCC APPROVE CLEAR CHANNEL BUYOUT

So Bain Capital & Thomas Lee Partners get their prize. Wonder how much money exchanged hands from them to the FCC dolts to make it happen. You thought CC was bad, wait till these guys start cutting throats so they can make their money back on a company they overpaid for.

Aha...here is something I noticed in the ruling.

Stations spun into Aloha Trust must be divested within 6 months of the take-over. And CC can not flip flop stations after the move through to Bain.

Aloha has stations in Cleveland and Dayton (entire market). Something sounds interesting.

If they have to spin those stations, it would make interesting changes and possible buyers for those. Looks like we have a interesting few months ahead in radio.

Another thing they are going to do is fire everyone. That should make the masses happy.
