Yes the company policy has changed, but not in the way you describe.
Having attended journalism classes at Michigan State, I do know. But for a Mexican journalist, interviewing a U s politician, I did not find the questions leading at all. If there was any hint of that, it came from the nuances of how different cultures interpret language in a case where each of the two have a different primary and native language.
Believe what you want to believe. But I suspect the new policy will become more apparent in a few months,
It’s not a “new policy” but one that the owner has had in effect for over 75 years… more if you include radio. It is simply being implemented at a newly acquired subsidiary.
So has there been any more development on LMN's programming? 1280 WADO and other former Univison AM stations are still carrying the TUDN sports talk radio network.
WADO doesn't count as an LMN station for now, but the other AMs do. The other AMs haven't changed a bit, except for WAQI, which is now airing a side of older Tropical with it's talk at times.
Coincidentally, before the UDN takeover, WADO aired Latin Oldies (both Tropical and A/C) mixed in with it's talk.
What is the issue with WADO "not counting" as part of LMN?

No. They have the option to pull... Although with the Soros group's acquisition of Audacy, due to ownership cap concentration the main LMN cannot acquire WADO. It would have to go to the other holding group that the Miami and Dallas stations were placed in with no attributable interest to Soros's investment group.

But you're technically correct that neither party has announced a decision. The 9 month window ended August 2023.
Why would dredging in the immedate vicinity have any bearing on the sale of a radio station? Would the owner of the tower site (presumably Univision) be financially responsible or is it an insurance thing?
Would you buy a $5 million house with such a contingency?
I’ve also been wondering when LMN is actually going to do something with its station group.
Here in Houston we have a bizarre situation: LMN closed on its acquisition of KLAT 1010 over 15 months ago, but it is still running TUDN in a simulcast of TelevisaUnivision’s KQBU 93.3.
So what was the point of LMN again?
