FCC Backs Off Newsroom Survey Plan

"The Commission will reassess the best way to fulfill its obligation to Congress to identify barriers to entry into the communications marketplace faced by entrepreneurs and other small businesses."

They don't need a committee to do that. I can tell them in one word: Money. That really is the only "barrier to entry."

But the FCC doesn't think that way.

Of course "barriers to entry" wasn't the issue in the first place. It was just an excuse to harass license owners over content.
