FCC complaint

  • Thread starter Atlantaairwaves
  • Start date

At first, I thought AtlantaAirwaves posed a ridiculous idea, then I realized that several of the Atlanta stations could use the Quarter-Hours. Perhaps Dave or 99X should use this as their Fall promotion. "Listen for the F word of the day, and the first complainer wins $100K for their favorite Government Regulatory agency.

Also, as a side note, Corporations are merely trustees of the Public Airwaves. The Corporations actually own the right to use the airwaves.

I do not buy into this "the public owns the airwaves" nonsense. This cute little phrase serves as nothing less than a convenient excuse for government control of the primary means of dissemination of information in the United States. (At least before the Internet).

What don't you buy? Do you not believe it? Or, do you not support it?
