Never seen anything like that.
Your station must be compliant in all areas.
Get a copy of the FCC Rules And Regulations. Include all sections which apply to your operation.
Obtain the services of a good FCC Attorney and a good Consulting Engineer.
They can answer any questions which you may have.

I think it's called participating in your local associations mock inspection program 
. All joking aside, I believe the FCC itself has a checklist...

When I worked at Entercom, we had something that I think was called a "rules service", which I haven't seen since I left there. It was like those old recipe packs mom used to subscribe to with the three-ring binder. She'd get a pack in the mail once a month and put them in, and then when she was done, the binder would sit in a box in the garage with the bedazzler, the cookie gun, and the closet organizing gizmos.
That being said, I was looking for a more practical answer like "things to watch out for that the FCC man will gitcha for". And I'm not being a total nitwit about it; things like having directional arrays that are pointing in the right direction, and a transmitter that's on the right frequency are usually a good place to start. ;-)

Ah, I searched for "FCC compliance checklist" and tripped on this: http://www.sbe.org/FCCSelf-Inspections.php. Looks like a useful thing to participate in.
As for FCC documents, Google leaves me neck deep in hits, so no help there.

"Pike and Fisher" offers this service in print or on CD. (I prefer print). I used this extensively when in the consulting business (1966-2004). The FCC inspector is impressed when you have a copy...even more so when you know the various sections of the rules and what they mean (This takes a while). Not cheap, but a must have for the CE who wants to know the "real" answers. Thanks

On the other hand, I could only print the parts to do with radio. I remember actually reading (and comprehending) a few bits when I was stuffing those 3-ring binders. Parts 15, 73, 74 (I think) are numbers that seem to be bubbling up.

If you have an iphone you might want look in the app store for Title 47 cfr. It's the red CFR one. They update it rather frequently. It's pretty awsome for the price.

Back when the Government Printing Office was in charge, you could subscribe to everything you needed, for about $100 a year or less. A sub to one volume was around thirty bucks, which covered you until the next major rewrite.
I had a whole shelf full of binders, with everything on there.
Now, you can download a "Self-Inspection Checklist" here:

Haven't bought a copy of the rules in years. A very reliable source on line is http://www.hallikainen.com/FccRules/
Harold keeps them up to date, and you can even look back and see what they were. Cost, nothing and I've seen Alternate inspectors look up info on that site. THe old three ring binders were pretty good but not as good as Harolds site.
