FCC Investigates Station that Refused Entry for Mandatory Inspection

An LPFM refused entry to FCC field representatives who wished to conduct an inspection. Two employees refused and then the owner, on the phone, also refused.

This certainly points out that LPFMs, often run by folks not aware of rules and regulations, need qualified technical and legal advice. There are experts like Scott Fybush and Miche who post here who can assist such stations in compliance with the "rules and regulations".

That was really dumb of the licensee. $17,000 automatic fine for refusing FCC inspection. This is the biggest FCC no no of them all.
