FCC OK'S 104.7 MOVE TO REDLANDS

It came Friday. All of Gold Coast's objections were declared "bogus". Look for KDES' calls and format to move to 98.5 in the next few months. The sale of KWXY was previously approved.

Gold Coast, filed a bunch of applications for booster/translators in the inland on 104.7 a few years back before the freeze; they had plans to extend the coverage of 104.7 Oxnard, into the inland empire. The approval of the move in sandbags that plan for good.

Any chance that Dave Hull would be retained by KDES along with the 98.5 frequency? To not make room for Dave Hull on an Oldies format would just be insane...
