FCC orders unlicenced radio station off the air

96.1 FM in NW houston(Acres Homes area) has been ordered off the air because they dont have a licence. I know we have talked about this before but couldnt find the old to post to bump up to the top. The backers of the radio station say they plan to move the station to the internet until their licence is approved by the FCC

Damn the first time I went looking for the station I found the studio loaction in 15min Info posted about the station all over the building. They were playing crappy commericals & there audio sounded like crap. Plus they might not have been running with a filter. They say they are gonna run on the internet till they can get a license damn I have a better chance of winning the lottery in the next 2 weeks then the fcc giving them any type of license ever.

Watch Quannel X will be helpin this station stay on the air him helpin will do nothing x is a joke.

Yeah, I'm surprised they are barely forcing the station off the air. It has been on for a while now playing commercials. I could receive them (really bad though)all the way out to 610 and the Eastex freeway. It faded away quick once past 59 on 610.
