FCC plans to add 20 GHz of satellite spectrum

"12.7-13.25 GHz, 42.0-42.5 GHz, 51.4-52.4 GHz, and the so-called “W-band” at 92.0-94.0 GHz, 94.1-100 GHz, 102.0-109.5 GHz, and 111.8-114.25 GHz."

Are there even health studies on constant exposure to frequencies that high? I'm picturing a breathless Doc Brown running around his livingroom exclaiming "114.25 jiggahertz!?"

The sun is a lot more powerful. Now they claim some of the sunscreens don't block the bad rays like the package says but I digress.

Back in the day we used satellite feeds for the national ABC news and had "sunfade" which was when the satellite was directly "behind" the satellite. Also took out some of the cable TV channels like MTV, CNN, The Weather Channel, etc. for 5 to 15 minutes depending on the position of the satellite.
