FCC tells WRGB Ch 6 to get off FM

Oh how the management at WRGB tryed to play that down, by just saying "we don't have authorization". The way FCC (The Fines Collection Commission) has been handing out fines of late, I can only believe there will such an action here. I am also willing to believe that a competitor in the area filed a complaint looking at this as an unfair advantage and that is how the FCC found out about it.

What a bummer! Trying to put WRGB on 87.9 FM. That's a dumb move, the FCC pulled the plug on that. Screw them. Now look at WPVI out in Philadelphia, they still don't have any FM on 87.7, but WPVI would not go to 87.9, because the FCC didn't want it at all.

As you may know that both WRGB and WPVI out in Philly all carried channel 6, but they are still not going to be on FM carrier anymore. I wonder if maybe they should put "Pulse 87" on there to get the coverage area from NYC to Albany.

As I was watching the 5 PM newscast yesterday that during the traffic report, he was saying that make sure you take CBS-6 News with you in your car and tune us at 87.9 FM. That's not going to work anymore, because it is still off the air. In the mortal words of Bugs Bunny, "What a maroon!"
