FCC to hold forum on WWOR-TV renewal

Well given the fact the station doesn't really serve New Jersey as intended and isn't exactly kosher ownership wise this could be interesting.

Ownership thing isn't an issue to me. Foldable newspapers are rapidly approaching obsolescence anyway. How much more public interest do other stations do as compared to what WWOR does?

I don't know about public interest, but I must say that I am no longer impressed with WWOR anymore. 60% of their schedule is infomercials, and nothing on the station interests me much at all. They should offer more news than just 10PM.

The 10PM formula for CH.9 was something Fox inherited, but at other times during the day, they'd rather you watch FOX 5 News, or that'd rather put news on their own baby.

At present, I just watch MY 9 News. I'll watch Montel from time to time (in my area Montel is aired on a cable-only channel).

As a viewer outside of the NYC tv market I appreciate the fact that WWOR does air news. I find, at times, that some newstories are of interest to viewers outside of DMA #1.
