This is what happens when people vote in reps who want to cut back the size of the federal government.

The federal appropriation to the FCC has been cut to basically nothing. Their budget comes from fees, fines, and spectrum sales.

The proposed budget is increasing by >10% but they are gutting the staff (primary expense)... what are they doing with the rest of the money?
