I'm looking for the market's urban competition to get very interesting in the near future with the majority of the Radio One Atlanta stations trending towards the top 5. I feel WSB might get surpassed by another urban-formatted station very soon. It will be interesting what V-103 will do in the response to counter their appeal and while increasing their ratings overall in the 18+ back over a 10-share. We never truly know what CBS might pull since it's top billing in the market...

Feels like eternity waiting for Atl ratings to come out!

Anyway, speaking of WWVA, whatever ratings hike took place - was due a recorded rating period that took place BEFORE they tweaked and changed up... again! So, my whole "I can't wait until March to see what their ratings will be like" thing I posted in January is now, once again, irrelevant. :( However, I am glad that it went up. :) But now I have to wait until May to see what THIS current format sound brings! :-\ If I had to pick a gender for WWVA, I'd say it's a very attractive female because it does things that can be confusing at times, and mostly around the time when you thought you were just beginning to "figure her all out".

Well, since this has already been brought up, I might as well not start an entirely new thread for what I originally came to ask;

DOES ANYONE KNOW:
If WWVA can be picked up in Clayton County, area code 30215?

I am sure simlucast partner 96.7 WWLG blankets clayton county.

I wouldn't hold my breath on WiLD ratings increasing. HOT 107.9 creeping up slowly and Q100 sounding a little more Rhythmic, WiLD doesn't stand a chance. I guess we can see where the 95.5 THE BEAT listeners really landed.

You all should wait before making such profound comments on the Feb numbers until Rodney posts the demos that matter, 25-54 and 18-34 to these stations. Reaching conclusions or speculating on format tweaks based on 6+ shares is mind numbing.

I buy radio time, and I both agree and disagree with you. Buyers do not see 6+ numbers. They only see the numbers for their target audience. However, a station's 6+ numbers usually give you a very good idea of how they do in their target demo. With a 4.2% share 6+, you know that Star has to be very strong in women 18-49/25-54.
