Has country ever been No. 1 6+ in San Jose? What's driving this surge, and is it in the demographics that country is targeting these days?

KOIT is clearly doing something right at the moment. I don't think I've ever seen them with a share this high without the help of Christmas music.

Latino Mix is barely registering. They really need to kill that format or go back to the 50% English, 50% Spanish. The ratings won't get any better.

95.7 The Game will never bring in ratings. Everyone in the Bay goes to KNBR for sports talk. That's the way it's always been. If KNBR ever got the Warriors back, The Game would be finished.

KIOI is Hot AC, I'm not sure why the website lists them as AC.
Each website that publishes ratings determines the format names for each station. It's their decision how to name each one.

Ratings will improve overtime as the Hispanic population ages in the Bay Area.

With the A's possibly leaving Oakland for Las Vegas, definitely will be a blow for 95.7. The fanbase for the A's has shrinked, many of them either left the Bay Area or left the state as a whole. Wasn't like this 15-20 years ago.

Just the opposite. Spanish language media depends on an ongoing arrival of first generation immigrants who are dependent on programming "in their own language". The longer a person is here, or by the second generation, the move towards English language media is considerable.

While many first generation immigrants continue to retain their music preferences, many also expand them and become listeners general market stations.

I predict that within a couple of years, 95.7 will change formats yet again. Maybe if Audacy was smart, they could bring back 95.7 The Wolf! San Francisco would get their Country music station.

I don't live in San Francisco but listen on Amazon Echo and the apps. And I'm curious about why Wild 94.9 consistently beats 99.7 NOW. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Also, when Gabby Diaz moved to L.A. to do 11AM-3PM on 102.7 Kiss FM, it was announced she would continue doing her PM drive shift on Wild 94.9 live from L.A. But that meant she would be on the air non-stop from 11AM-7PM, which sounds kind of difficult. Anyone know if her Wild shift is tracked?

Gabby Diaz is live on both KIIS-FM and on WiLD 94.9.

Didn't you read David's post? The stations' format descriptions are determined by the websites that publish the 6+ ratings, not by Nielsen itself.
Kind of mixed it up a little bit, given that Radio-Online and RadioInsight both list KIOI as an AC, rather than a Hot AC, in the PPM listings of their respective websites.

On their own Nielsen Audio website that publishes top-line ratings (usually 24-48 hours after they're made publicly available via the trade websites that are quoted on these forums), KIOI is indeed listed as "Adult Contemporary", which means that iHeart chose that format descriptor from a number of choices provided by Nielsen Audio.
