February 25 Ratings

WKQC stays at #1for the second non-holiday book in a while. WFAE and WBT benefited from all of the chaos in DC.

Interesting to me that 'XRC has gone from a 5.4 to a 6.2 & 'RFX has gone from a 3.8 to a 5.9 - they've been in the low to mid 3's since Fall '24

iHeart fired the WRFX/WEND PD in the first week of the February book. WEND had the best ratings in their history under Crowley, but WRFX significantly underperformed. Looks like WRFX’s #s are coming back up after the change.

I continue to be amazed that WPEG scores so low with 18-34 and so high with 25-54.
I don't think it makes much sense for WKQC to be ahead of them 18-34. WKQC plays mostly 80s music, and a 34 year old wasn't even alive then. Maybe in the car with their parents or somebody older? or maybe they work at a restaurant or something that plays it? Who knows?

These are nationwide trends, not just Charlotte.

And I found it odd that WRFX is apparently doing better without John Boy & Billy?!?!
Wouldn’t say dropping JB&B is the reason the ratings went up. For the last couple of years AM Drive and PM Drive on RFX have performed about the same- similar share and rank, with middays performing a little better than drive times. That trend hasn’t changed.
