"Do you think this expanded news is going to help? Or, are people going to think there is too much news and not enough talk?"

When Rush Limbaugh was on the air, WDUN (and others) joined him live while WSB delayed him a couple of minutes so they could squeeze in more news and commercials. But they had to end his hour on time, so they had to speed him up slightly - resulting in him sounding like (more of) a chipmunk when he got on a roll. Rush was a mixed blessing to WSB.

That's one reason why WSB likes to have local hosts. They call it targeting a younger generation.
