Feder today

Feder's column mentioned WILV and WLIT using the "Feel Good" positioner today. Probably the best part was WLIT's VP saying WLIT has been using it since last fall.

On a side note, I've noticed Love FM's rhythmic format is slowly improving now that they have a PD in place.

WLIT really has changed their format recently. If they're not worried about the station with low cume, why make the changes? Didn't the old Windy 100 use "picks you up and makes you feel good"? Who's the new PD at Love FM?

Close, it actually was during the 100.3 WPNT days.

They also had a disco/70s/party show on Saturday nights in the WPNT days.
______________

Perhaps one station can start saying they are "Chicago's Feel Better Station."

Then the other station can go: "Oh yeah? We'll we're Chicago's Feel GREAT Station!"

You know, a basic game of "You suck. No, You suck."

Personally I feel good without having to listen either station.

I am reminded of a time in the late 60's when "Boss Radio" was in. WFIL/Philly had a sweeper saying "WFIL is BOSS!" Sooooo, what does competitor WIBG run? "WIBG is BOSSER!" BOSSER??? Too funny.

Worst slogan ever.

Play music for me, sure - but do NOT hug me. In fact, don't touch me at all.

Windy 100's slogan seemed to be "No Rap, No Hard Rock, No Lite and Sleepy Elevator Music," since that seemed to be what the image voice said on every sweeper.

Oh, and some lame "80s, 90s and today" line. How imaginative.

Don't forget when they took the Drive approach in 2001-early 2002 "Time For You" with wind chimes as liners.
______________

Yes, more fidgeting around by the brainiacs at Bonneville.
The latest incarnation is consulted by Zapoleon so there
is an excellent chance of success since the Solk/Horowitz
duo is not calling the shots this time.
