He did go to New Orleans, and he's coming back again.

The government is doing a lot more than the media; they're the ones who simply don't care. MS didn't have an Anderson Cooper or Shepard Smith whining day in and day out for help.

He went to the NO International Airport, which is not in NO but in Kenner, a suburb to the west, so he could climb into a heavily armored helicopter. If he was on the ground at all in NO, he (or his handler Karl Rove) kept it well concealed.
