Female Midday Jocks

In scanning accross the dial, I am amazed at how many female jocks there are doing middays in this market...and they all sound pretty good.....I'd rank them in this order: Nikki (Buzz)...Jill Bucco (FM-100)...The Chick on 93X (sorry I didn't catch her name) and Danni(Q 107)...I've always thought a good, tight, uptempo sounding female jock is better than a male jock any day!

I think it's a dead heat. Some formats don't allow the jocks leeway to let their personality shine while others can.

I guess I'm like John Ford...I love all the ladies!

I listened to Lisa on 97 and also to Julie Cannon on 103 back in the day...they made me want to go into radio. I later did my tour of duty as a "midday chick" in Memphis. Now, after 21 years in the business, I'm not sure if I should thank them, or blame them!!

With all this talk about the Pig lately, I stopped by to see some friends at the stye the other day. I was in the lobby talking to Zeke and saw Danni walk by. SHE is my favorite midday chick, I don't care what she sounds like!!

The Buzz mid day chick indoubtly top Bucco at 100, which is all that matters to me, since there the only two station I listen 2.

Who are you and what do you know about the French Quarter? Once a Pig always a Pig I guess. After all I was in the sty for a year and a half.
