There was a version of "Every Day" sung by a female group (duo, I think) that was played for a few months in 1981 on WOPI (during it's adult-contemporary days), then seemingly disappeared from the face of the earth.
It had this beat to it sortof like Abba's "Name of the Game". It's been stuck in my brain all these years, but I don't know the name of this group.
I'm posting this question here in the off-chance that somebody reading this may have worked there during this time. Or if you didn't, maybe you know who this is.
I ordered all the relevant Joel Whitburn Billboard books looking for it, but this thing apparently never appeared on any chart.
If anyone knows the name of the duo (or group or whatever) that did this version, could you please let me know? Thank you very much!
