Ferrall now on nightly on Sirius' Howard 101

According to All Access, it's official. All you Scott Ferrall fans can now hear him on Howard 101 from 8-midnight EST.
______________
"...and the countdown continues until the neanderthals that govern college football do something about their pathetic postseason."--Tim Brando, Sporting News Radio

If I understood him correctly, Ferrall said his final obligation to FSR is this weekend at the Final Four.

Aw, MAN!

I don't want to have to pay for Sirus!

Who will I listen to now for Sports Talk? He was one of the few lively people I could stand- that I thought was coming from my point of view.

my thoughts exactly....i already have xm...and xm carries foxsports radio...i hope he will continue to do the weekend shows...

Re: Aw, MAN!

From the understanding i got, he is done with FSR, Clear Channel, Premiere Radio after this weekend. On his website, I noticed that the references to his FSR show are also gone...So unfortunately for folks who only listen on FSR,this weekend will be the final opportunity (until Sirius starts streaming Howard 100/101, which is rumored to be happenning in the near future)...

FERRALL LEAVES FSR

You are correct. I caught the tail end of "Moneyball" this morning, and heard him say his final FSR thank-yous and good-byes.
______________

ferrall has said over the last few weeks that he would do shows 7 days a week...i really thought that if he got a sirius contract he still would continue at fox/clear channel...now maybe his contract with them was up and they didn't offer to renew...he always had lots of callers and he's so different in his style and approach...for me he is so much more listenable than any other sports host...i will miss the weekend shows a lot...and because i thought he would stay at fox i now have 3 xm radios...adding sirius is going to take a lot of thought...in the end i will probably cave and get at least one radio...r in nj

Re: FERRALL LEAVES FSR

I'm sure CC had him under contract for a while and was willing to let him out of it. I would assume that when FSR had ferrall doing mornings for a month or so, they signed him to a contract. Once they realized he wasn't going to work out in mornings and they moved him to weekends. Given the option of letting him out or eatting a contract, CC chose to let Scott free. Now is any of this true, no idea, just a thought.

Don't agree on the morning show comment

Scott Ferrall could have been a great morning man for FOX. I have no idea who they have on there now, in fact, and I was a regular listener when Tony Bruno was on.

I don't think it's accurate to say that Ferrall didn't do a good job in the morning during his stint. I think, if anything, it was a mistake by FOX to not utilize him in this role and the fact they kept their top talent on in weekends shows you how clueless they are.

There simply wasn't any room for growth for Ferrall at FOX if they weren't giving him the morning show. What he did do there was incredible in such a short period of time.

Re: Don't agree on the morning show comment

Well said. Too bad our resident shill and FSR insider, realdeal9, is only paid to disseminate anti-SNR propaganda here, and refuses to actually CONTRIBUTE info to this forum and shed light on behind-the-scenes happenings at FSR.
