Ferrell is Awful!!!

Read some recent posts praising this guy but after listening tonite, not only was his line bad, his sound and stammering is unlistenable. I remember his early days at night with the beer cans and rock music in the background. Sadly, those days are over and this guy is just a burned out has been. No wonder he's buried weekends on that sinking ship FSR.
Ron Barr was considered good in his day when there was no competition, but he too is done as is Ferrell on the bench. RIP.

i beg to disagree....i listen to him all of the time...and he is as entertaining and knowlegeable as ever....and i wish fox would give him a weekday gig but it seems they are reluctant because of his style and reputation ...he was suppose to get the morning show but fox got cold feet and had concerns...i think sat radio is the place for him...just a suggestion...give him a chance...he will grow on you or you will hate his style even more...radio is changing...they are under so much pressure from certain fanatical religious groups...fines are huge...people lose their jobs...and on and on...so we all have to suffer for a few...jmo...as for the stammering..i don't think he's use to sharing the show with another host...and last nights show was the first for him...

Scotty F. is one that you either like or hate. He has a style that is unique, that people find entertaining or just grating on your nerves. I do like Scotty in small quantities. As far as 3-4 hours straightof listening, no can do. He has made the rounds from station to station. That possibly scares off potential employers. Word travels fast in the industry, some of it fair, some not. One thing for sure, Scott is a solo artist. Any network/station that hires him to team him with someone else is making a bad decision. There are guys with styles that can play off their partners, (Bruno, Kiley & Booms) and there are those who have to go solo (Rome, Ferrall).

I have only heard Ferrall twice but I loved each time. I would love for him to get on XM and truely be free.

Re: Ferrell is GREAT!!!!!!!

Stern - am drive
BTLS - pm drive

Ferrell set the bar and is the reason why several successful talk hosts now have big syndications and make big money. He was the King of sports talk long before Rome. Only Rome and Chris Russo have found more success than Ferrell had in the mid 90's. No local host can claim that they had or will ever have the success that Scott achieved in the 90's. He is the classic example of a guy who had it all and lost it all. He is trying to rebuild his name and I hope he finds his way back to the top. Ferrell sat on Letterman's couch while Tony Bruno couldn't last two weeks on the Best Damn Sports show period.

Once again, bad info from you Mr. Bad Deal. Ferrell may have sat on Letterman's couch, but now he can't even get into the studio audience. I like the guy, but he's done; plain and simple.
Bruno, if I'm not mistaken was on Best Damn Sports Show over 2 years, but again, you never seem to let any facts get in the way of your mis-information and total lack of any knowledge. Bruno is also in the top selling sports video game of all time 2 years running: Madden 05 and 06. More facts for your shallow nonsense.

So where does FSR Shill/Asswood's Lapdog rate in the radio food chain? Maybe you can tell us after you pull your nose out of Asswood's butt.

As for Ferrall, the only media outlet interested in promoting his tired schtick is High Times magazine.

yes, 10 million games that get played over and over while that Leno or Letterman appearance is somewhere near Pluto in television history. Maybe they're seeing those shows in another world.
I only come on this board to expose morons with no clue or real info like you!
