Things were getting a bit ‘noisy’ in and around WITR late last year — to the point of it spilling over into a Radio-Info thread, titled Tensions at WITR, last December. (It’s not very often that RIT’s student-run campus radio station becomes a focus of discussion on this board.)
Well, I’m pleased to report that although there probably always will be a few hiccups along the way (it’s the nature of college radio, after all), things have calmed down considerably. Here’s an update on what’s happening now at WITR, along with what’s in store for the future — including details about ambitious plans for a new on-air studio. What a difference eight months makes:
