Fez Whatley, of Ron & Fez fame

The bad news came through earlier today via the Bennington show social media feeds on Twitter and Instagram-

We lost our sweet Fez Whatley last night. His heart finally gave out. We are devastated, but we will always remember the laughter through our tears. Our thoughts are with his family who loved him the most and with the people who knew him as a voice on the radio. #fezwhatley

Decades of radio through Tampa, NYC, D.C, and ultimately XM (and then SiriusXM)

Was Fez Whatley a part of Ron and Ron show in 1990's when it was on many radio stations in Florida

RIP Fezzie. If your sensibilities lined up with the show's, it was absolutely top 5 greatest radio shows of all time. The chemistry he had with Ron was great, and Fez had some of the quickest and funniest lines I've ever heard on radio. The show was also good at keeping the listener wondering what was a bit and what was reality, it would often shift between the two several times over the course of one show.
