File Sync Program

Does anyone know of a good/free "file Sync" program to use so I can upload what is "playing now" to my website from my automation system.

Thanks

It all depends on the automation system.

I use an older DOS-based system and I needed to have a custom app written to interface it to the rest of the world.

I don't know if you are aware, but if you use Shoutcast your website can run PHP, you can easily adapt the common script that bans stream rippers to read the Admin XML file and display what you are playing.<P ID="signature">______________

Of course, you're also assuming that the automation system being used can output playlist metadata to the Shoutcast server. In my case, mine couldn't so I designed and had a programmer write the application to output the metadata using files generated by the automation system. Many older broadcast automation systems aren't going to have this functionality, due to the fact the need wasn't there to do so.

Is that why i'm having problems with Station Playlist to metadata artist and title info to the shoutcast server?

From what I've seen in the demo, Station PLaylist supports metadata output to a Shoutcast server. I would check your configuration to make sure you have it correct for your own setup (i.e., server IP and port, password, etc) I wouldn't anticipate any problems with SPL
