Are any of the fill-ins doing anything other than "republicans good, democrats bad, Hunter's laptop, Trump can do no wrong?"
Most are just there to do as any good fill-in host does: Stick to the script, stay on point with their chatter and the issues they discuss, and be good and interesting enough to hold the listening audience that tunes in, without being too good to the point where they overshadow the regular host or somehow become more appealing to the audience than the regular guy.
At some times they will do a best-of, which 96.9 called a Radio Rewind. Mostly a fill in.

Taylor Cormier for Howie.
Jerry Williams used to have Mike Siegel on. Later for awhile RKO decided not to carry Howie's syndie show so Siegel went on but
RKO brought Howie back a few months later.
Jerry's been gone almost 20 yrs now.

Taylor Cormier is a great....Would love to see him as the successor.
With K000nah on vacation I wouldn't be surprised to watch RKO's ratings skyrocket.
