I notice it says on Howie's WRKO page "Avi Nelson will be filling in for Howie on Monday". Er, you mean _Tuesday_? Yesterday was Monday and the Col. was on then. I wonder if Howie will be missing for awhile while things get straightened out (fill ins or "classic Carr"). Entercom claims they can still get Howie back... and there's a question as to whether or not there's a non-compete clause.

Almost like what WTKK was doing when Severin's contract status was in
doubt.

I'm not sure who owns domain name howiecarr.com but if Entercom does, hmm...Howie could just get another one...
 
The thought of Avi Nelson, Colonel Hunt, Tom Finneran, Todd Feinburg, Rush Limbaugh and Mike Savage all on one station is proof positive that they don't know what they are doing at Entercom Boston.
 
He's OK. It's kind of like..."Papelbon is injured (he isn't but this is an example) so the Sox
are re-activating Dennis Eckersley" :)
