Hey guys,
Tomorrow, the December 2012 Arbitron book will be released. This is the final book of the year (outside of the Holiday book which actually will be released at the end of Jan 2013... and buyers don't really care about that book anyway). I hope to be able to get some data to post tomorrow. Any predictions? My prediction, and it's pretty obvious and safe, Sunny will be #1 in nearly every demo. It'll be another rough book for KOMP. It might also be tough for stations that share a lot of audience with Sunny like Mix, the top 40 stations, Point and KKLZ. Although, typically KKLZ and Point do okay against Christmas music. So, we'll see.
It will also be interesting to see who the big winners/losers were for the entire year. I will also try to get a 12 month average so we can actually see what stations had a good year and those who didn't.
And then maybe we can all make some predictions of changes to come for the Las Vegas market in 2013 like potential format changes, etc. Many of the other city/state boards have done this and it's interesting to think about, at least I think so.
