Except that Alarcón no longer has equity in the company his father founded.Meh. It's a Chapter 11. Debt and equity will be restructured. Life will go on.

So is the family out like in the Audacy bankruptcy? Or will Raul continue as an Employee?Except that Alarcón no longer has equity in the company his father founded.
Isn't Uno Radio Group is practically an extension of iHeart at this point? If so, it's pretty ironic that they're making fun of SBS considering it was less than a decade ago that they went bankrupt themselves (2018).I just listened to WPRM in Puerto Rico and they just released a promo essentially making fun of SBS being bankrupt.😬
I can't decide if that's savvy or petty for the local company with a sweetheart deal with iHeartRadio going against the national company. Whether you think it's fair or not, they're playing two different games.
Institutional memory is not a strong point of today’s broadcast companies.😑🫥Isn't Uno Radio Group is practically an extension of iHeart at this point? If so, it's pretty ironic that they're making fun of SBS considering it was less than a decade ago that they went bankrupt themselves (2018).
And I think most of the owners of the broadcast companies today belong in an institute.Institutional memory is not a strong point of today’s broadcast companies.😑🫥
My understanding is that the deal with IHeart has been minimized and only includes national sales, like a rep agreement.I just listened to WPRM in Puerto Rico and they just released a promo essentially making fun of SBS being bankrupt.😬

UnoRadio is not owned by iHeart. And UnoRadio did not go bankrupt nor was it financially affected by whatever went on with iHeart. The deal with UnoRadio consisted of some "affiliations" for the iHeart concerts and events and being part of the national sales effort of iHeart. Neither were affected by the reorganization of iHeart.Isn't Uno Radio Group is practically an extension of iHeart at this point?
