Finally a reason to vote for Patrick Lynch

The other day on Dan Yorke's show, Patrick Lynch was blabbering on about his run for governor. Toward the end of the interview, Yorke was lecturing him in his "Holyer than thou" attitude about him visiting John Cicilline's sub shop. "How could you as the Attorney General frequent an establishment owned by a convict?" Lynch retorted, "Every day you have a convicted felon on the air for four hours a day, I would say hello to him as well." The silence was deafening ! All of a sudden the interview was over....no comment, no response.

Was stunning that Yorke failed to slapdown Lynch over his disingenuous and specious argument. To equate Yorke's tolerance of WPRO employing Buddy Cianci (a decision Yorke has nothing to do with and one that came after Yorke was already at PRO) with the ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND frequenting the establishment of a convicted felon is ridiculous and a good insight into Lynchie's ethical challenges. Yorke's lack of a comeback at Lynch was embarrassing but not unexpected. Dan is very friendly with the Lynch family and has handled our ethically challenged AG with kid gloves for 8 years now. Just imagine how much time Yorke would have spent over the last 8 years pounding on an AG with the exact same record/behaviors as Lynch if the name was Carcieri or Cicilline. Did you hear Yorke's bizarre take recently that when Lynch accused the governor of lying he was not calling the governor a liar.
Huh???? What???? :D
Dan has issues. Weird guy.

Hahahaha. Holy crap. Well played Mr. Lynch. Very well played. This is coming from someone who likes Cianci. But that line couldn't have been used in a more perfect place if it were a scripted Hollywood movie. I wish I had a tape of it. Lucky for Dan... I don't.

Big difference,

Oh now you are going to get Rush Limbaugh involved too? That's not right. :p
