Finally, B98.5 playlist and clock changes

WSB-FM/B98.5 has finally gotten around to add some older songs and songs the station has never played before. About 12:30 AM, B98.5 played No Doubt's "Underneath It All". Yesterday afternoon, they played "At This Moment" from Billy Vera and the Beaters.

Also, it appears that they have changed their clock around a little bit.

New songs (AS of 12:45 AM): "Behind these Hazel Eyes" Kelly Clarkson

It has been well over a year since B98.5 has added any older songs to their playlist. Finally, a breath of fresh air if you will.

Here are 26 "new" songs B98.5 has played so far

In just the past nine hours (Midnight to 9 a.m. or so), WSB-FM has played 26 songs it hasn't played in ages. It's too soon to say if those crazy folks at that station are merely subbing songs out or expanding the playlist. If the station keeps to its standard 300-song depth, extrapolated, that's about 25% of its playlist so far or about 75 "new" songs.

"At This Moment" - Billy Vera & the Beaters

"Faith" - George Michael

"Underneath it All" No Doubt

"Behind These Hazel Eyes" Kely Clarkson

"You're In My Heart" Rod Stewart

"Release Me" Wilson Phillips

"I Go Blind" Hootie & the Blowfish

"Let's Hear it for the Boy" - Deniece Williams

"My Life" Billy Joel

"Hold Me' Fleetwood Mac

"Faithfully" Journey

"Take My Breath Away" Berlin

"Endless Love" Vandross/Carey

"Take it on the Run" REO Speedwagon

"You'll Be In My Heart" Phil Collins

"Hungry Like the Wolf" Duran Duran

"Crocodile Rock" Elton John

"Kokomo" Beach Boys

"Angel" Shaggy (That's a bit of a surprise)

"Hold My Hand" Hootie & the Blowfish

"You Make My Dreams" Hall & Oates"

"Cruel Summer" Ace of Base

"If I Can't Have You" Yvonne Elliman

"Name" Goo Goo Dolls

"Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) Backstreet Boys

"This I Promise You" 'N Sync

Do you think that has anything to do with Lite FM beating them recently with an expanded playlist?

Some of these songs should have been played regularly in the first place.

Re: Here are 26 "new" songs B98.5 has played so far

I've been trying to figure out how they did it, but... THIS is why B's been voted #1 at work AGAIN.

V8 someone...please.

Actually, it is, but I was trying not to offend anyone.
